Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancellations and refunds work for OneRanked SEO services.

Our free SEO audit is free — there is nothing to pay or refund.

Monthly SEO plans can be cancelled with written notice; work already completed is not refundable.

One-time projects can be refunded in full if you cancel before work begins.

Your signed proposal or service agreement always takes priority over this general policy.

How This Policy Works

Every paid OneRanked engagement is covered by a written proposal or service agreement that sets out the scope, fees, payment schedule and cancellation terms. This page explains our general approach. If anything here differs from your agreement, your agreement applies.

Free SEO Audit

Our free SEO audit is offered without charge and without any obligation to buy. Because nothing is paid, no refund applies.

Monthly SEO Plans

  • Monthly plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing period.
  • You can cancel at any time by giving written notice by email, normally at least 30 days before your next billing date, unless your agreement states a different notice period.
  • Fees for a month in which work has already started are not refundable, because SEO work — audits, content, technical fixes and outreach — is delivered throughout the month.
  • When you cancel, we hand over all work completed, reports and any accounts or access that belong to you.

One-Time Projects

For one-time projects such as SEO audits, website migrations or technical clean-ups:

  • If you cancel before we begin work, you receive a full refund of any amount paid.
  • If you cancel after work has started, we charge for the work completed to that point and refund the remainder.
  • Once a project is fully delivered, it is not refundable.

Third-Party Costs

Some campaigns include costs paid to third parties, such as premium directory listings, sponsored publications or software subscriptions. Once these are paid on your behalf, they usually cannot be refunded by us.

No Refunds Based on Rankings Alone

Search engines control rankings, so we cannot guarantee specific positions. Refunds are not given because a particular ranking was not achieved, provided we delivered the agreed work. If you are unhappy with the work itself, please tell us — we will always try to make it right.

How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

Email contact@oneranked.com with your business name, the service concerned and the reason for your request. We aim to reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 14 working days.
